This is a great opportunity to join a branded global food and drinks business renowned for pushing boundaries with their innovative product ranges. They are now looking for an exceptional Regulatory Technologist to work as part of a high profile project team based at their London head office.
Working as part of a small cross-functional project team providing expertise in EU product compliance for food and non-food products. This is a broad role and high profile role where you will be the regulatory / compliance expert providing regulatory solutions to ensure the success of the project.
Key aspects of the role will include managing the artwork process, labelling compliance and import requirements for a range of products such as food, drinks, merchandise and equipment.
Responsibilities will include:
• Guaranteeing compliance of all food and non-food labels, against EU standards, both through effective communication of regulations and the approval of all multi lingual labelling content
•Managing all technical documentation and certifications as well as creating a manual for regional suppliers
• Working with licensed partners to ensure they have all the information and advice required for the successful importation of goods and equipment.
We’re looking for a confident, proactive and process driven Regulatory / Compliance Technologist with FMCG experience. Ideally with a food science, nutrition or food technology degree and proven success within the food manufacturing, retail or foodservice sectors.
Experience must include the interpretation and application of EU regulations, knowledge of current EU nutrition labelling and FIC regulations. You must be highly adept at interpreting and applying regulations in the EU, being able to manage technical product information and handle nutritional data. Fluency of Italian would be great but not essential.
To really excel in this role you must be analytical, detailed and resourceful but also have amazing communication skills with the ability work collaboratively across all level within the business. As you’ll be working closely with a European supply base so there will be some travel involved.
